The Master thesis is an independent, scientific research work, which requires planning, dedication and teamwork of candidates, as well as a certain tolerance for handling obstacles and unexpected problems. The research activity primarily takes place in work groups (WG) at the department. An orientation phase serves for getting to know these WGs. However, the opportunity is also provided to perform research in external research groups and possibly at companies, naturally in coordination with the department.
Major topics
