8. Dublin Institute of Technology
The first technical institution in Ireland, DIT was established in 1992. From January 2019, the amalgamation of Dublin Institute of Technology; Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown; and Institute of Technology, Tallaght forms the first technological University of Ireland, the Technological University Dublin.
