Budapest Metropolitan University: With the motto “Inspired by Creativity,” this private university is one of the best universities to study arts in Hungary. They offer both bachelor and master’s programs in Journalism and Media, Arts, and Design and Architecture. However, in order to gain admission to the Budapest Metropolitan University, knowing the English language is a must, and you are also required to take the IELTS language test.
Central European University: Accredited both in Hungary and the US, this private institution offers master’s programs in Philosophy, Medieval Studies, Comparative History, Environmental Studies, etc. The tuition fee for a two-year course in Comparative History is 12,000 EUR/year. The university provides housing, library, medical and ICT services to all its students. However, one must pass the IELTS English language test to be eligible to study at CEU.
The University of Szeged: One of the most reputed public universities in Hungary, the University of Szeged is popular for its wide range of educational programs. It offers M.A. courses in English Studies, Religion Studies, and Teaching in English. The tuition fee for a two-year course in English studies is1500 EUR per semester and the living cost in Szeged ranges between 127,000 to 185,800 HUF per month.
