Brief description
The Bachelor’s degree in computer science consists of a solid education in computer science with options, basic training in mathematics, an internship for professional orientation and a minor.
Focus
In the later course of the course, there is the possibility of choosing between various advanced modules such as logic, software technology, theoretical computer science, database systems and selected topics in computer science and thus developing an individual focus.
Starting in the 2016/17 winter semester, students can choose business administration, biology, geography, mathematics, physics and economics as minor subjects.
aims
There are excellent career prospects due to continuously developing new fields of activity in which in-depth IT knowledge is required. Graduates are wanted in almost all areas in which computer and information technology are used. They take on development and programming tasks for hardware and software, apply their knowledge in complex information, communication and control systems and are also active in the areas of system administration, training or teaching.
