  • The internationally oriented master’s course gives a well-founded and practical insight into logistics and its effects on traffic. The graduates are offered an interdisciplinary degree. It contains an engineering focus and is embedded in a broad environment across all faculties. The subjects come from different disciplines: mechanical engineering, computer science, communication technology, economics, civil engineering, physics, geography and social sciences.
  • Curriculum

    The technical logistics course covers the following areas:

  • Modern methods in production and logistics (12 SWS)
  • Economic Geography (8 SWS)
  • Transport systems (8 SWS)
  • Logistics systems (9 SWS)
  • System planning (9 SWS)
  • Elective courses from the field of transport and logistics (e.g. management of logistics systems) (9 SWS)
  • Elective subjects not from the field of transport and logistics (6 SWS)
  • Exams / ECTS credits

    A total of 120 credits have to be acquired in the course-accompanying exams, a practical project and the master’s thesis.

    - Planning and operation of intralogistic systems

    The graduates are employed as project engineers and project managers for the planning, operation and maintenance of logistics systems both in the internal environment and in the field of external logistics - in short, wherever technical and organizational expertise is required to Mastering business processes that deal with the manufacture and distribution of products and the implementation of services.
