Computer Science, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

The "Computer Science" course at the University of Bayreuth imparts basic competencies in both practical and theoretical computer science on a broad front and leads to a Bachelor of Science degree. Not only contemporary content is conveyed, but also theoretically substantiated concepts that endure beyond current trends. These include analysis, design, implementation, and project management skills, technological skills, and interdisciplinary, methodological, and social skills.
The University of Bayreuth also offers various master’s courses in computer science, in which the knowledge and skills acquired in the bachelor’s degree can be expanded and deepened. 

Well combined

The Bachelor’s degree in undergraduate computer science is a degree with a high degree in computer science. In addition, a wide range of alternative application subjects is offered. This includes some natural and engineering sciences, mathematics, law and economics, and media studies. On this basis, the graduates can work in an interdisciplinary team with specialists in these subjects and communicate across disciplines.
