4. How to Apply at Irish Universities

University Application Process

Out of 34 Irish Universities, you can apply to 9 Universities in Ireland via the “postgraduate application CLG” website, as listed below. For all the other Universities, you will have to go to the respective website of the University and apply individually. Then will be the English Language requirements that are necessary to get admission.

English Language Requirements:

To study in Ireland, you will have to fulfil the language requirements. The most common English Language Proficiency tests that international students take are IELTS and TOEFL.

In some cases, if your bachelor's degree was in English speaking University, you are exempted from language tests. Students whose native language is English are not needed to take the exams.

The common requirements for the English tests are as below:

  • TOEFL: 120 for CBT (computer-based test) and 550 for Paper Based Test

6. Ireland Study Visa
